Cardinals come up short against Indian Hills

OTTUMWA, IA - The Mineral Area Cardinals are participating in the Indian Hills Classic this weekend. Friday was the first day of the Classic where they faced off against the 19th ranked team in the country and host Indian Hills. It was a hard fought battle that ended up in favor of Indian Hills by the score of 62-58.

Kenny Burke piled up 20 points with four three-pointers for the Cardinals. Ryan Byrne followed Burke with 16 points and three three-point shots. Tremaine Wilkerson made 10 points. Ray Peterson grabbed six rebounds while Burke had four.

The Cardinals will take on Northern Ohio Area Community College today at 5 p.m.
