JEFFERSON CITY, MO - The Farmington Knights wrestling squad traveled to the Helias wrestling tournament on Saturday. The trip was well worth it as Farmington won the gold division with a total of 170 points.
Other teams participating in their division were Kirksville with 147 points, Rolla finished third with 140 points, and Odessa made 65 points to round out the gold division. In the blue division, Father Ryan won the division with 180 points. Montgomery Bell Academy took second with 153, Helias was third with 129, and Harrisonville finished fourth with 92.
Three Farmington wrestlers were undefeated for the day. Craig Wilson (119), Tyler Epstein (189), and Michael Zaricor (140) were all 4-0 in the tournament. Jake Heist (275) and Kevin King (152) were both 3-1.
The Knights travel to Francis Howell Central Wednesday.
Principia 64, Central 10
ST LOUIS - The Central Rebels wrestling team had a rough go of it on Friday when they traveled back to Principia high School for a dual meet this time (Central participated in the Principia Tournament last weekend). Only four Central wrestlers were able to win their individual matches in Friday's meet.
