Mineral Area gets back on the winning track

GODFREY, IL - After suffering a second-half breakdown against Moberly this past Saturday, the Mineral Area Cardinals looked for redemption. They found it against the Lewis and Clark Trailblazers on Monday. The two teams were dead-locked by the score of 25-25 after the first half, but the Cardinals took the lead with 8:31 left in the second half and kept it. Mineral Area picked up a 43-33 conference win.

Mineral Area (14-7) is currently 1-1 in their conference and 1-2 in Region 16 play. The Cardinals will travel to Sedalia for a region game against State Fair on Saturday.
