LOUIS - The Mineral Area College baseball entered Tuesday's double-header at Meramec still in contention for a share of the first-ever MCCAC conference championship in school history. The Cardinals had to win both games against the Magic while hoping for a split between Jefferson College and Forest Park in Hillsboro to be part of a three-way tie, but it was not to be.
