POTOSI - The Potosi Trojans had no problem getting over Pacific in their football game on Friday. Over is the key word as the Trojans quarterback, Earl Haug, threw the ball 14 times for 303 yards and Potosi claimed a 23-8 victory for their second win of the season in as many games.

Kevin Schneiders helped out big time with the passing yardage as he grabbed a Haug pass and then went 96 yards for a touchdown. Schneiders had 171 yards on four catches. Joe Douthit caught two touchdown passes. Brandon Casey ran for 88 yards on 14 carries.

Collin Gilliam was a defensive giant with 14 tackles and six assists on the night.

De Soto 28, Fredericktown 15

DE SOTO - The Fredericktown Blackcats had a rough time defensively against the De Soto Dragons. A dropped punt return early in the game gave way to De Soto's first touchdown. The Dragons scored again just before the half to make it 16-0.

Fredericktown's two scores came late in the game when Brandon Brown carried the ball for his first and only time 64 yards for the score. Matt Allgier would score the second touchdown on a five yard run. Ryan Sawyer completed 6-14 passes for 57 yards.

Brown was tops in tackles with six solos and three assists.
