Mineral Area dumps Three Rivers in three

POPLAR BLUFF - The Mineral Area Lady Cardinals needed the minimum three games to win their match over the Poplar Bluff Lady Raiders on Wednesday by scores of 30-18, 30-23, 30-26.

Jennifer Gabrian set up 43 kills for the Lady Cardinals. Monika Jaroszewicz connected on 13 of them, Tiara Boyer made good on 11 more, and Cassidy Wisdom made good on nine. Gabrian also made 15 digs on the night, Wisdom made 13 and Boyer had 11, but it was Libero player Jessica Murdick who led the team with 18.

Chelsey Morris had 10 digs and Lora Dickey stuffed three Lady Raiders with blocks for points and also had six kills.

The Lady Cardinals are now 23-11 and will play next at Lindenwood on Monday.
