Daily Journal is looking for Celebrity Pickers

€ MEGA Sports to provide prizes

The Pigskin Picker panel that runs in Friday's Daily Journal is seeking individuals who would like to take a chance at besting the panel over the next three weeks.

If you are interested in being a Celebrity Picker call the Daily Journal at 431-2010 and ask for Sports, then when you get the answering machine or a live person leave your name and telephone number. Your name will be put into a can with all of the others who apply, and a drawing will be held each week to determine who will get the chance that week. Those not selected for that week willl still be eligible for the next weeks.

Each celebrity selected will have their photo taken and will have to make their selections of winners of that week's 14 games. For each member of the panel the celebrity beats, they will win a $5 gift certificate compliments of MEGA Sports. Ties do not count.

For the first eight weeks of the Pigskin Pickers, sportswriters and radio broadcasters, past and present, have been invited as guest pickers to pick against the panel. Their final results and the results of all celebrity pickers will be published after the contest has ended.
