The Farmington Firebirds, 2005 champions of the Kitty League, are preparing for the 2006 season and first up is the sales of season tickets. Next week's season will be 50 games with 25 played at home. Season tickets for the 25 home games are $87.50 for adults and $50 for children. Tickets are normally $5 or adults and $3 for children which makes a savings on season tickets of $37.50 for an adult pass and $25 for a children's pass.
“What a special Christmas gift for a family member, a friend or a neighbor, who is a baseball fan, to see the best summer baseball played in the area,” cited Firebird manager David Cramp.
With the addition of Huntingdon, Tennessee, the 2006 season will have at least five teams in the league and at the time it could possibly be six, but the amount of games will stay the same either way.
For more information contact David Cramp or the Firebirds office at 760-5430.
