LOUIS - The Mineral Area College Cardinals were all set to move up in the NJCAA rankings after defeating No. 3 Indian Hills in Saturday's Rotary Classic, but Sunday's game at Meramec College with the Highland Cougars in the Rawlings Shoot-out proved fatal to their chances. The Cougars, 8-0 and ranked No. 12, snatched away an 80-78 win to give themselves great chances of moving higher up in the polls.
