In an effort to increase economic development and commerce in the Fredericktown and Madison County area, the Fredericktown and Madison County Chamber of Commerce has partnered with local businesses and the City of Fredericktown to hire a full time Executive Director.  

The Executive Director will work with the Board of Directors to foster a business environment that encourages economic growth and development.  In response to community needs and feedback from our membership at the Vision Forum, we have endeavored to raise money to hire the Director.  

The following businesses and individuals contributed to this effort to date:  Kenny Pierce CPA, Warren Reagan-Covenant Care Services, LLC, New Era Bank, First State Community Bank, Renee Sargent-Harrison-Sargent Construction, Country Mart, Susan Stotz-Home Care Nursing, Inc.,  John Thompson-Cedar Creek Hardwoods,  Inc., Pat Kemp-Kemp's Auto Body and Sales, Inc., Seabaughs Furniture and Appliance Co.,  Black River Electric Cooperative, and Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Fredericktown.  

The interview process has been completed and it is believed that the position will be filled by the end of January.
