The Town Square Enhancement project has started. As work progresses, detours will be necessary. Please drive with extra care and slowly in the downtown area during this project.

West bound traffic will still be able to travel East Main St. (as a single lane one way west) from Mine La Motte to the Square; and West Main St. (as a single lane one way west) from the Square to Park St. during the construction. Parking will be allowed facing west on both sides of the two block area described above during the period of one way traffic.

East bound traffic will be detoured from West Main St. south on Park St. to College Ave., east on College to Mine La Motte Dr. northward.

North Main St. from about the back of the Sonderman Building to the Square will be closed to traffic during construction on the north side of the Square.

Local traffic only - will be allowed on South Main St. while the south side of the Square is rebuilt. The street will be closed from the Square to the north of the driveway running between the library and the Democrat News, which accesses the public parking lot in the rear of these buildings.
