Missouri vaults to No. 2 in college baseball poll
COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — The Missouri baseball team has moved up to No. 2 in the Baseball America college baseball poll, its highest mark ever.
The Tigers are 18-2 and have won 13 games in a row, including a three-game weekend sweep of Big 12 rival Baylor to start the conference season.
Arizona State beat ranked teams Arizona and California-Irvine to remain No. 1 in the poll, which was released Monday.
The Tigers play a pair of midweek games at Minnesota beginning Tuesday before facing Texas Tech this weekend in Lubbock, Texas.
