Article:	R-1 BOARD OF EDUCATION APRIL MEETING The Fredericktown R-1 School District Board of Education met at its monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 14, 2008. The first order of business was to swear in the new members: Patrick Martin, Dennis Bess, and Ken Truska. A motion was then made to elect Larry Kemp as Board President. It received a motion and second. No other nominations were made and Mr. Kemp was elected president unanimously. For the office of vice-president, Dennis Bess was nominated and received a second. With no other nominations, Mr. Bess was elected with no descending votes.
