True two wrongs don't make a right, but i'm sure it gets very aggravating having parents telling you how you should coach. Even if leadwood doesn't win the league they still have something to be proud of, they have all had a good fun season, there has been no pressure put on them and they are just out there having a good time and playing good baseball. That should be all that matters these days, yeh its good to win but as long as they are having fun thats the main part.

BTW the umps did a very good and fair job at these games. They missed some calls (as all umps do) but it went both ways.

It's an old saying but it applies here, "Two wrongs don't make a right"! Everyone one could see the parent started it, and he is old enough to know better. But the coach has to learn not to get caught up in it.

He should have ignored the dad...don't get me wrong the dad was awful. He also shouldn't have yelled at the ump, and insulted the other coach. Winning the league means nothing if you can't do it with integrity.

His boys did play well, and hopefully as he matures he'll learn how to better handle his parents.

And hopefully the Jays coach will learn not to run his kids into outs.

I was wrong about the score of the second game, it was indeed 9-7 in favor of the Marlins.

The base running mistakes were mine, not the players, I ran them into some outs that cost us some runs...this game is on ME! Not to mention the Marlins played very good ball.

Why do people always come on here when they prolly don't know the whole story about why the coach was yelling at the parents? The reason the coach was yelling at him cuz a parent was yelling at the coach telling him to put his son in the game and to take out the first baseman who he thought his kid was better then. Parents have a problem staying out of the game and just letting there kids play, its one thing if you think your kid is better then another player, but to holler and make a scene knowing the kid heard it while standing on first base, oh and that young coach is 7-1 and has his team fighting to win the league guess he must not be to bad after all!

We shouldn't be concerned about that coach anyways. The players are 13 and we should look at the numbers they put up. The Blue Jays hit the crap out of the ball and really only lost the second game because of base running mistakes. Look at the numbers those boys put up. And look at Jared Dunlaps pitching in the first he has made a huge transition this year from 50 to 60 feet, especially for being almost the smallest kid on the team, and is still putting up great numbers not 10-15 k's a game but deffinetly hitting his spots and shutting people down.

I think he may be a umpire also which makes it even worse. I guess what goes around comes around. The homers will turn on each other when they see the chance. Just my .02

There's no need to attack the actions of this young coach. He's got a bunch of good kids and he's got them playing good baseball. They we both well fought games.

I agree, he was having a shouting match across the fence with one of his players dad, that was uncalled for. He should have ingnored the parent until after the game.

I was embarrassed to be from LW, the Marlins coach was yelling across the field at the ump he hired, he had a fight going on with one of his parents for most of the second game, and was rude to the opposing coach. He's got a bunch of great kids that played well but he needs to be rained in, he may be too young to be trusted coaching these young impressional kids, he set a terrible example.

The score is incorrect in the paper for the second game as well as the records. Marlins 7 Jays 5 was the final of the second game, the Marlins were never down by 5, they were down 5-1. We played the Farmington Bearcats last weekend and won both games but didnt call the games in. Our record is 9-1.
