Relay For Life Update

The Madison County Relay For Life “mini-relay” will be held at the Fredericktown High School track and football field starting at 6 P.M. on Friday, July 11, 2008 according to Relay Chair Penny Gifford.
The Relay has been moved from Court Square. “Pickin’ on the Square” will still be held on the Court Square that evening.
Gifford said the Relay For Life will begin at 6 PM and continue on to midnight. There will be a survivors walk, family walk, team walk and womanless walk.
Luminaries will be available for purchase and the luminary lighting will begin at sundown, about 9 PM.
The only food concession at this point will be a fish fry by Filtration Products.
Everyone is invited to join in the fun and asked to bring their own lawn chairs as seating will be limited.
If it rains, the Relay will be canceled until next year.
