1933 Chevy involved in rollover accident

Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an accident involving a 1933 Chevrolet last Thursday. The accident occurred at 12:55 P.M. on August 21, 2008 along business route 67, one mile south of Fredericktown.

According to the report; a 1933 Chevrolet driven northbound on Highway 67 by  Darrell D. Tripp, 65, of Fredericktown lost the right rear tire causing the driver to lose control. The vehicle ran off the right side of the road, struck and embankment and overturned.

Tripp suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Madison Medical Center by ambulance. The Chevy suffered extensive damage and was towed by D and D Towing Service of Fredericktown according to the report.
