As predicted, several bears did show up for the August meeting of HOPS.  They were adopted by members of the club who will provide them with loving homes.  In addition to the bears, four people from Marble Hill attended the HOPS meeting for the first time.  It seems that reports about the fun times members are having at the meetings are encouraging others to come experience a HOPS meeting for themselves.  Visitors and new members are always welcome. 

The next meeting, which will be held on Tuesday, September 9th, will include a celebration of Grandparent's Day.  Members are asked to be prepared to share a special memory involving a grandparent or a grandchild.  The meeting will take place at the Patton Saddle Club with the doors opening at 10:00 a.m.  Remember to bring a covered dish to share for lunch and a prize for Bingo.
