Last few weeks of Pickin on the Square

If you play an acoustical instrument, but Bluegrass, gospel, and country isn’t your “cup of tea”, gather up some fellow musicians, come on out, and play the kind of music that you like. Pickin has seen some high school kids on the square who played their own brand of music, and last week the audience heard a local cellist who played some classical music! All types of music are welcome, all that is asked is that it is without electronic amplification; So it does not disrupt the other musicians, and that it is in good taste (without profanity, ect.).
We’re down to our last month of Pickin’ on the Square! It’s been a long week! Come on out, relax, and enjoy the music tonight!
Next week we’re supposed to have another car club come in with their classic cars. We’re expecting approximately 25 cars, including a “General Lee”. There is supposed to be some other neat stuff going on then too!
Pickin' on the Square will have it's Season One Grand Finale on October 3rd. It’s shaping up to be a grand night of fun, with lots of special stuff going on!
