SpaceWalker noted for memorial display

SpaceWalker and other businesses partnered with MetalTek to help the memorial unit project.
James Laychak, president and chairman of the Pentagon Memorial Fund, lost his brother, David, in the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. He wanted this memorial in memory of his brother and all of the other 183 victims and their families. It was dedicated on Sept. 11, 2008.
The memorial is made up of 184 “memorial units” or benches dedicated to an individual victim killed at the Pentagon when American Airlines 77 crashed into the Department of Defense’s headquarters. It is only about 200 feet away from where the airplane hit the building.
Lt. General William G. Webster Jr., a survivor of the attacks, attended the ceremony of appreciation. He was assigned to the Pentagon as director of Training for the U.S. Army from 2000-2001.
SpaceWalker employees Patricia and Ray Murphy attended the ceremony as well. $$
