The Cats opened at home, Tuesday with a 6-5 victory over North County. FHS trailed 3-0, before scoring four in the bottom of the fourth, when clean-up hotter Alyssa Allgier smacked a 3-run homer, and Haley Stevens singled, stole second and third, and scored on an RBI ground out by Hailey Pate. The Raiders regained the lead with two in the sixth, but Fredericktown ended the game with no outs in the bottom of the seventh, as Lisa Hamel and Chelsey McDowell scored. Niki Mascaro allowed five earned runs on ten hits. She walked five and struck out four.
Wednesday, September 17, the Cats won 16-6, at St. Vincent. Alyssa Allgier scored four runs, and McDowell scored three to go along with her three singles. Mascaro allowed three earned runs on eight hits. She walked four and fanned three. The Cats lost 17-1 at Perryville. Stevens was 2-2 and scored the only FHS run.
Thursday, September 18, the Cats lost 9-3, at Ste. Genevieve. Stevens, Mascaro, and Brianna Denman each had a hit and a run scored.
