MADISON COUNTY FAIR 2008
The Madison County Fair is the most inexpensive way to spend a beautiful fall weekend. It will be featuring carnival rides all weekend starting Thursday, October 2nd at 5:30 pm and ending on Saturday, October 4th at 10:00 pm. Friday evening's events will include Pickin' on the Square and a Quilt Show sponsored by the Dixie Lee Quilt Guild.

Saturday opens with the one day livestock show with premiums and no entry fee and many crafts and demonstrations.

The Bootheel Professional Truck and Tractor Pull starts at 2:00 pm with Rachel Ward singing the National Anthem.

There will also be games, craft and food booths, and musical entertainment throughout Friday night and Saturday.

The musical entertainment for Saturday will include performances by The Backporch Players, The Punches Family, The Hillbilly Cat, and even some local entertainers during You Can Be a Star talent competition.

Come and enjoy one of the many events, such as pumpkin seed spitting, cow milking, and kiddie tractor pull, just to name a few or find a seat and enjoy the great entertainment. Come hungry and enjoy all the good food!!! Hope to see y'all there!!
