2008 Christmas in Lights Parade

December time is time for family and friend. That means it’s time for families to join and show their support for the community by participating in the 2008 Christmas in Lights Parade and lighting the JC Park. Cub Scout Pack and Troop 27 will be hosting this event and would like any and all to participate.
Decorating the park has been growing every year; we are looking for organizations, businesses or persons to put up a display in JC Park. You can put up a display sending a message for the holidays, or you can put up a display in memory of a loved one.
The parade will be on Friday, December 5, 2008 at 6:30 P.M. in the downtown area. We will line up at the Armory and travel toward town ending at JC Park, where there will be hot chocolate and SANTA. Line up time will be 5:30 PM. Please arrive on time!
If your company or organization is interested in entering a mascot, float or any other promotional device, please complete an entry form (available through Ken Tomlinson) and return it to Fredericktown Scouting Program C/O Ken Tomlinson, 1277 Madison 267, Fredericktown, MO. 63645 by November 28, 2008.
Deadline for both the Christmas in Lights Parade and Lighting the Park is Friday, November 28, 2008.
We encourage the many businesses and organizations in the area to enter a float in this year’s parade. Remember, this will be a nighttime parade-so use lots of lights.
