The April 7, 2009 General Municipal Election has several contested races, including those for the R-I Board of Education, the R-VI Board of Education, and the Mineral Area College Board of Trustees.

The MAC trustees participated in a forum, Monday night, at Black River Electric. The City of Fredericktown candidates for alderman and the Fredericktown School Board candidiates participated in a forum, March 12, at Fredericktown Middle School. Attendance was light for the forum. Hopefully these candidate profiles will be helpful for those who were unable to attend.
