The New Trace Creek and Trace Creek Baptist Chruches are holding a joint revival with Reverend Ron Shrum preaching. Reverend Shrum is a full time evangelist. Services at Trace Creek are Wednesday-Friday, June 10-12, at 7 p.m.

Mount Pisgah Baptist Church will be celebrating the 150 anniversary June 13 and 14, 2009. Saturday, June 13 gospel music concert featuring some of the best in Southern Gospel and Bluegrass Gospel music beginning at  6:00 p.m. It will be outdoors, so bring a lawn chair. Indoors in case of rain. Sunday, June 14, 2009 all day service beginning at 10:00 a.m. with preaching, singing, testimonies, church history and dinner on the ground. The church is located about 15 miles south of Fredericktown. Take highway 67 south to County Road 411 and follow signs. Pastor Clyde Berry and the congregation invites all to attend.

A Cemetery meeting will be held at Saco cemetery on C highway, Sunday, June 21, 2009 at 2:00 p.m.

Black Mountain General Baptist Church annual homecoming will be Sunday, June 14, 2009. Dinner at noon. Everyone is invited and welcome. Sunday school at 10:00 a.m. Church services at 11:00  a.m. Pastor Frank Hinkle.

The Buckhorn Independent General Baptist Church will have homecoming  Sunday, June 14, 2009. Sunday School 10:00 a.m. and morning worship 11:00 a.m. Dinner following morning services and a singing at 1:30 in the afternoon with Crossroads. Calvary Temple will honor veterans at a special service on Sunday, June 28, at 10:45 a.m. A special meal will be prepared for veterans and their families after the service. Veterans are encourage to wear you uniform. Please respond by phone at 783-5731 or 783-7299 by Monday, June 15.
