2009 Pride Edition continues with second section this week.

The 2009Democrat News Pride Edition is being published over a three-week span, this month.

Our first section, published in the June 10  issue of the Democrat News, was the “24 Hours” in Madison County section, with photos depicting a 24-hour period of life in this community.

The second section, published inside this edition of the Democrat News, is our photo contest. Our readers submitted their most impressive or interesting photos of the May 8, 2009 storm and its aftermath and clean-up. We received several impressive photos, as you will see when pick look at the section.

The third section, published June 24 is another favorite of local readers. It will be the “Relay For Life” Section with photos and information about the Madison County Relay for Life event held Friday-Saturday, June 12-13, at Fredericktown High School.
