BONNE TERRE — The Farmington Hounds pulled even with two runs to force extra innings on Friday night, and rallied past the North County Cubs 8-7 in MABA Junior Babe Ruth action.

Evan Dunivan and Jared Dunlap each collected two hits, and Rider Garrett drove in three runs for the Hounds (7-1), who escaped with the victory despite issuing eight walks to the Cubs.

Dunivan led off the seventh with a single, and two hit batsmen loaded the bases. Dante Castro brought the Hounds within 7-6 on his sacrifice fly, and Blake Archer tied the game with a bases-loaded walk.

Calvin Lynch provided the decisive sacrifice fly in the eighth after Dunivan walked and stole second base. Dunlap allowed one hit in two scoreless innings of relief for the win.

Garrett Coffman went 3-for-5 with two RBI, and Justin Ruby had a double among two hits for the Cubs. Drew Rhodes pitched 6 2/3 innings and took a no-decision, while Kaleb Warden chipped in a RBI single.
