It is already that time of year to think tractor shows...family fun...fall colors...local community. The place to do all of this and more is at the Cub-Arama!
For those of you wondering all the details on the show or those who have not yet been able to attend here is the core information on this special 8th annual event. Mark your calendars to attend as there are only 10 short weeks until it begins.
The Cub-Arama is a tractor show for the International Harvester/Farmall Cub tractor line, which includes the Cub, Cub Loboy and Cub Cadet tractors. This is the only tractor show to feature the Cub line front and center each year. The past 3 years have also brought in other items produced by the International Harvester Co. It has been pleasing to see a growing selection of other IH tractors, trucks and Scouts at the show.
The Cub-Arama is celebrating it’s 8th year and has grown by leaps and bounds since it all began in 2002. This “little” show, as it started out, is now hosting nearly 300 tractors that arrive from as many as 25 states and Canada! Tractor enthusiasts from coast to coast and border to border come by car, trucks towing trailers, semi-tractor trailer loads, and RV’s and some even arrive by plane or just drive their little tractors to the show grounds.
JP’s 8th Midwest Cub-Arama is set for September 24-26 this fall at Jaycee/Priest Parks in downtown Fredericktown. Thursday, September 24 will be used as a set up day with a majority of the participants arriving before the day’s end, if not the day before. The schedule of events starts on Friday morning with 2 full jam packed, fun filled days for both Friday and Saturday being planned.
Fredericktown is quickly becoming known nationally for it’s beautiful, quaint park and charming old time atmosphere among tractor enthuiasts who look forward to and plan up to a year in advance to take the colorful autumn drive every year to take part in this event.
