Route 72 Bridge at US67 Sustains Damage
Traffic Reduced to One-Lane While Bridge Crew Performs Assessment/Repairs
SIKESTON- The Route 72 overpass at US67 at Fredericktown has sustained damage following a hit by an excavator. The overpass will be reduced to one lane and staged with traffic signals while MoDOT crews perform an assessment and repairs.

MoDOT bridge crews began assessing the damage and will continue work on Friday, September 11 from 7 am through 3 pm. Work will continue until repairs are complete.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
