William F.  “Bill” Lawrence, 87,  died September 29, 2009 at Monticello House in Jackson, Missouri.

  He was born June 22, 1922 at Morley, Missouri the son of James and Delilah (Vincent) Lawrence.

Mr. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Paul Lawrence and Marion Lawrence; two sisters Daphine Allen and Shirley Arndt; and his wife, Lillian Geneil              (Parks) Lawrence whom he married in St. Louis.

He is survived by one son, Daniel Lawrence of Cape Girardeu, Missouri; Three  grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Mr. Lawrence was a member of the Church of Christ.

He was president of Local 254 Bakery and Confectionery Workers Union and had served as secretary-treasurer of Local 4 Bakery Confectionery and Tobacco Workers Union.

Services were held October 2, 2009 at Follis and Sons Chapel with Minister DeWayne Duncan officiating.
