Gregory Mitchell Baur, 53, of Fredericktown died September 29, 2009 at Fredericktown.

He was born July 18, 1956 at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois.

Mr. Baur was preceded in death by his father,  John Baur; his mother, Ellie Smotherman; and step-father, Don Smotherman.

On December 23, 1991 at Fredericktown, he was united in marriage to Jeanette.

Mr. Baur is survived by his wife, Jeanette Baur of Fredericktown; three daughters, Candice Baur, Sonja Mills and Teresa Cox; one brother, Terry Smotherman; one sister, Tammy Williams; and two grandchildren.

He was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Services were held October 2, 2009 at Follis and Sons Chapel with Pastor David McCutcheon officiating. Burial was at the Christian Cemetery.
