In October of 2009, Madison County 911 Joint Communication Dispatchers answered a total of 295 calls on the emergency 911 lines

Of these calls there were 70 E.M.S. Calls, 10 Fire Calls, 68 Law Calls, 99 Hang-up Calls, 45 Non- Emergency Calls, 3 Transfers Calls and 0 test calls.

Of the 295 calls the communication center received, 180 of the calls were received from cellular phones.
