Would you like to decorate a lamp post for the Christmas season?

The Community Beautification Committee has received approval from the City of Fredericktown to do holiday decorations on lamp posts in the downtown area.

The Court Square, West, South and East Main Sts are included. All organizations, commercial enterprises and individuals are invited to participate.

Few restrictions allow for maximum creativity and artistic expression. Use your imagination and skills to create your unique holiday display. We will enjoy seeing your own contribution to decorating our town.

Decorations may be put up starting the week of November 23, 2009 and must be removed by the week of January 4, 2010.
