Three local boutiques were named tops in their nominated categories in The Boutique Hubs “Boutique Awards.”

Laura Belle Boutique of Farmington was named Missouri Boutique of the Year and Missouri Children’s Boutique of the Year.

Southern Sins of Farmington received Missouri Online Boutique of the Year and The Giving Tree Boutique in Desloge received Missouri Storefront Boutique of the Year.

According to a press release about the contest, the Boutique Awards is the only global recognition event for independent boutique retail owners in the fashion industry, hosted by The Boutique Hub. The Awards recognize and celebrate the best boutiques across all 50 States in the US, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom, in the categories of Storefront Boutique of the Year, Online Boutique of the Year, Children’s Boutique of the Year, Mobile Boutique of the Year, and State or Country Overall Boutique of the Year.

Ashley Harrison, owner of The Giving Tree, along with Kayla Tedder, owner of Southern Sins Boutique and Laura McLean, owner of Laura Belle Boutique, were voted into the final round from more than 4,000 boutiques worldwide after being nominated for the awards.

“Less than six months after we launched our website, I find out that we are voted ‘Best Online Boutique’ in Missouri,” Tedder said. “What an incredible feeling. None of this would be possible without the loyalty of my customers and there are not enough words to show them how much they mean to me.”

McLean expressed she was humbled, grateful and not sure where to begin expressing her thanks to her customers and the community for their support of each of the businesses.

Harrison said she loved the fact each was nominated – and received their awards.

“Luke 6:38 says ‘Give and it will be given to you,'” she said. “I am so grateful for the love and support the community shows and rallies around charity.
