Bohs Celebrate 50th
Ron and Iris Bohs were married on October 18, 1959 at the Presbyterian Church of Farmington and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this month at a celebration that drew over 60 guests from as far away as Florida and Illinois. The couple's children Rhonda and Shawn Bohs, and their spouses, Sonia Rivas and Julie Hirsch-Bohs, organized an open house featuring 50's era music, a cake resembling the couple's original wedding cake, decor echoing the couple's wedding day including daisy bouquets flown in from New York, and a digital photo display highlighting a variety of family events. The crowd was treated to a variety of delicious refreshments ranging from champagne punch to bakery fresh cookies specially made for the gathering.
