The Fredericktown High School girls basketball team defeated St. Vincent, 49-43, in overtime, Thursday, in Perryville.
The Lady Cats trailed 11-10 after one quarter and 21-14 at halftime.
The Cats took a 28-25 lead into the fourth quarter. The game remained close in the fourth quarter, and St. Vincent scored in the closing seconds to tie it at 40-40.
The Cats made 7-of-9 free throws in overtime to secure the victory.
The Cats made 19-26 from the line in the game, as Mallory Mathes hit 10 of 13 free throw attempts. Maddie Burrows and Mathes each scored 12 points, and Callista Francis added 11. Kylie Mann scored six, Kayleigh Slinkard scored four, Savannah Swan scored three, and Evann Davis scored one point.

Fredericktown led 7-5 early in the game, but trailed 16-7 after one quarter and 27-9 at halftime.
Burrows led the Cats with 11 points. Mathes scored seven, Francis and Mann each scored two, and Swan scored one point.
The Lady Cats host West County, Thursday.
