The Fredericktown High School Football Team fell to 1-3 on the season, losing 44-3 to the visiting Ste. Genevieve Dragons, Friday, here.
The Dragons improved to 1-3.
Ste. Genevieve received the opening kickoff and drove 70 yards for a touchdown. The PAT was no good and the Dragons led 6-0 with 8:46 to play in the first quarter.
Neither team scored again in the first, but Fredericktown opened the second quarter with a 26-yard field goal by Colten Jordan.
Ste. Genevieve scored on its next three drives to take a 26-3 lead at halftime.
The Dragons added three more touchdowns in the third quarter.
For the game, quarterback Colten Rehkop led the Cats on the ground with 10 carries for 25 yards. He completed 11 of 22 passes for 100 yards. Seth Laut had three receptions for 54 yards.
On defense, Mike Parrish led the team with six solo tackles, including three for a loss and sack. He also had one assist. Laut had five solo tackles and two assists. Ethan Flanagan also had five solo tackles.
The Cats will have their homecoming, Friday night, as they host the Potosi Trojans. Potosi is 2-2 and coming off a 25-7 victory at Perryville, last week.
