Have you ever been to an old-fashioned Brush Arbor meeting? It’s a revival outside under the stars. And Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church is hosting a Brush Arbor meeting starting Sunday, October 15, at 6:00 pm. The meeting continues
Monday through Thursday, October 16-19, with service beginning at 7:00 pm.
There will be special singing nightly so come early to hear some before service officially starts. Different evangelists will be preaching each night. Bro. David McCutcheon of New Hope will start out the Brush Arbor meeting and then Bro. Bob Thebeau from DeSoto will preach the Monday service. Tuesday night will be Bro. Chris Belken, youth minister at Coppermines. Wednesday night will be Bro. Brian Lee, pastor at Mine La Motte FWB; and Thursday night will feature Bro. Faron Thebeau, who is building a church in Rolla. Faron and his family have been serving the Lord along the borders of Texas and Mexico. He preaches in English and Spanish, but English will be the language of his sermon at the Brush Arbor.
Come for a special time worshipping God and singing His praises. Bring your own lawn chairs or use ours. This is a casual worship environment so come as you are, bring your singing voice and any instruments for specials, and bring a welcoming heart for the messages.
Oak Hill Church is located 4 miles on C highway, just outside of Cherokee Pass. Pastor Roger Cox extends an invitation to everyone. This will be held rain or shine…we move inside if it rains. Come enjoy some old-time preaching in an old-fashioned arbor and let God’s light shine on the hill.
