Fun, friends and food – that’s what those attending the United Way of St. Francois County’s Girls’ Night Out can expect.

United Way Board Member and Event Chairperson Jackie Berry describes the event as a “win-win-win” each year.

“It’s a win for United Way, it’s a win for Season of Hope and it’s a win for all the ladies who join us for a great evening,” she said. “It’s all about fun, friends and food … especially friends.”

The event is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 26 at Twin Oaks Vineyard and Winery, located at 6740 Route F in Farmington.

For a $20 donation to the United Way, those attending can enjoy water, soda or wine, plus a variety of appetizers.

Attendees are also asked to bring an unwrapped toy or gift card for the St. Francois County Community Partnership’s “Season of Hope” program.

All proceeds from the event benefit St. Francois County agencies.

“This is a night about getting together with friends,” Berry said. “We will have a delicious array of snack foods. Everyone also gets an opportunity to look at the wonderful items up for bid in the silent auction.”

No reservations are needed to attend – “just come out and have a good time with your friends,” Berry said.
