The City of Farmington released information recently regarding Spring Clean-Up Week.
The pick-up dates are divided by ward and are as follows:
Ward One: Monday, April 2
Ward Two: Tuesday, April 3
Ward Three: Wednesday, April 4
Ward Four: Thursday, April 5
City crews begin at 7:30 a.m. each morning of the week. Items should not be any larger than what two men can handle. Crews will finish a ward the following day if unable to complete in one day. There is no call-back for crews. All items should be at the curb on the specified morning no later than 7:30 a.m.
Items to be disposed should be in containers at the curb or in the alley.
Crews will not take items typically picked up by trash services, which include trash bags, cardboard boxes, or items in garbage cans. No leaves, limbs, brush, lumber, shingles, siding or construction waste products will be picked up.
Appliances must have compressors removed.
Tires may be taken to the Street Department at 210 Industrial Drive on Friday, April 6 for a fee of $2.50 per tire, $3.50 if mounted on wheel. Only passenger car and light truck (pickup) tires will be accepted.
