Senior class hosts fundraisers

The Farmington High School Class of 2018 is selling commemorative bricks through Oct. 30. This is a continuation of the fundraiser held by last year's senior class.

The Farmington High School Class of 2018 is hosting two fundraising events this month.

The class is selling memorial bricks as a fundraiser for both prom and Project Graduation.

This is a continuation of the fundraising event started by last year’s senior class. The bricks are located near the new Black Knight Field House along Black Knight Drive.

The cost for a 4-by-8 brick (containing three lines) is $50 and the cost for an 8-by-8 brick (containing six lines) is $100.

Bricks orders will be sold until Oct. 30.

In addition, a “Mommy/Son” Halloween Dance is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 28 at Lincoln Intermediate School. The dance is a fundraiser for project graduation.

The dance is for boys ages 3 to grade 6, escorted by their mother, grandmother, aunt or other special person.

The cost is $10 per couple in advance, with $5 for each additional son. The cost at the door is $15, with $5 for each additional son.

Refreshments and photos will be available for purchase. A raffle and door prizes will be awarded as well.
