Patt/Barbee

Roy and Myra Patt of Bonne Terre are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Patt, to Aaron Barbee, son of Mike and Pat Harrington of Farmington and Wally and Teresa Barbee of Barnhart.

The bride-to-be is a 1994 graduate of North County High School and a 1999 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is currently employed as an assistant manager for Walgreen’s.

Aaron is a 1991 graduate of Farmington High School and a 1995 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He is currently employed as an assistant manager for Walgreen’s.

The wedding is set for April 5, 2003, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Farmington.

Shaner/Mataya

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Shaner of Hilton Head Island, S.C., wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Catherine Jamison Shaner to Mr. James Paul Mataya, son of Mr. & Mrs. Lou Mataya of Carmel, Ind. An early spring wedding is planned.

Miss Shaner is a graduate of Austin College with a BA in Business Administration & Psychology, and is presently a student at Northwestern University. Mr. Mataya is a graduate of Indiana University with a BS in Business Administration. He is a Senior Consultant for Deloitte Consulting.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Virgil Shaner and the late Mr. Shaner, and a niece of Dr. and Mrs. James Shaner, all of Farmington; also, a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Thogmorton of Fayette, a niece of Ms Cathy Thogmorton of Lee’s Summit.

Rayfield/Freeman

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rayfield of St. Louis and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Freeman of Farmington are pleased to announced the engagement of their children Allison Michelle Rayfield to Joshua Boyd Freeman.

Allison, a graduate of Marquette High School, is currently attending Meramec College. She plans to attend the University of Missouri-St. Louis in the fall of 2003.

Josh is a Farmington High School graduate and a graduate of McKendree College. He is employed with the Fox School District in Arnold where he teaches middle school physical education. He also coaches football at Seckman High School.

The wedding is planned for July 26, 2003, in St. Louis with the reception following in Farmington that evening.

Lanham/Rasnick

Mr. and Mrs. James Lanham of Farmington and Mr. and Mrs. Terry Rasnick of Potosi are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Sarah Anne to Matterson Lee.

The couple will be married Friday May 23, 2003, at Pleasant View Assembly of God Church. They will be honeymooning in the Great Smokey Mountains and will reside in Farmington

Southers/Howard

Janice F. Moutray of Farmington would like to announce the engagement of her daughter Debra F. Southers to Jack E. Howard.

Debra is a 2001 graduate of MAC and will graduate in July with a double major, with plans to receive her masters in Psychology from SEMO. She is employed at SMMHC. Jack is a long time resident of Missouri and is employed at Little Tikes. Their home is in Farmington where they will reside after their wedding.
