Berry/ Lawson

Sarah and Zachary

Surrounded by family and friends, Sarah Ann Berry and Zachary Steven Lawson were united in marriage on October 9, 2010 in a beautiful ceremony at the United Methodist Church in Desloge.  Pastor Dean Berry officiated the ceremony.

The bride, escorted by her father, walked down the aisle in a white satin gown, with a beaded bodice, and full skirt. The veil worn by the bride is the same veil that her mother wore. The bouquet was full of bright red daisies, white and black feathers, jewels, and zebra print ribbon. The bride chose her cousin, Amanda Moore as matron of honor and Dawn Davis as her maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Sarah Bohnenkamp and Tara Stevens, both friends of the bride and groom and Riki Hamm, cousin of the groom. The bridesmaids wore a variety of beautiful, floor length, red dresses of their choosing.   Flower girl, Anna Moore, cousin of the bride wore a red and white dress.

The groom wore a classic black tuxedo with a red vest and tie, finished off with white and red patent leather shoes. The groom chose Don Lilley as his best man.  Groomsmen were Roy Stevens, Corey Davis, and Josh Stark who are all friends of the groom, and Jon and Paxton Berry who are brother and nephew of the bride.  The groomsmen also wore black tuxedos with red vests and ties.  Ring bearers were Brady and Bo Powers, cousins of the bride.

Candle lighters were Bobby Moore, cousin of the bride, and Bonnie Stevens, friend of the bride and groom.   Bonnie also served as the guest book attendant and Bobby served as the usher.

Bruce and Kelly Rasmusson of Kream Photography from Rochester, New York captured this special day with beautiful pictures.

The reception was held at the Elizabeth Hall in Leadington. The guests were served a variety of delicious foods and a very colorful candy bar was available for snacking. The three-tier wedding cake was white with black polka dots and provided three different flavors of delicious cake.
