Amanda Rose Dowell and Franklin Paul Beranek were united in marriage August 6th, 2011 in a beautiful ceremony at the United Methodist Church in Desloge.
The bride, escorted by her father, walked down the aisle in an ivory, satin and organza gown covered by a draping of Italian lace and sequin beading from Special Memories in Leadington. The bouquet, made by the bride's mother, was full of red roses, white gerbera daisies, jewels and a blue butterfly for that special “something blue.”
The bride chose her oldest sister Sheena Blankenship as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Quinn, Dawn Beranek, Ashlee Thomas, Molly Hedgcorth, and Whitney Bequette. The bridesmaid's wore black and white knee length Alfred Angelo dresses from Special Memories in Leadington, MO.
The groom wore a classic black tuxedo with a black shirt and ivory vest and tie finished off with a boutonniere of a single red rose wrapped in zebra striped ribbon. The groom chose his oldest brother Bill Beranek as best man. Groomsmen were Steve Beranek, Joe Skaggs, Michael Eubinger, Dusty Montgomery, and James Russell. The groomsmen also were black tuxedos with black shirts and red vest and ties.
The reception was held at The Elizabeth Hall in Leadington. The guests were served a variety of delicious foods from King Daddies catering. The wedding cake was four tiers with red roses, black ribbon and was topped with a glittery white butterfly given to the bride from her grandmother. Guest danced the night away to music played by Totally Sounds Entertainment.
The happy couple honeymooned in Panama City Beach and has made their home in Park Hills.
