The Bismarck and Terre Du Lac Police Departments, along with the Terre Du Lac Association, are seeking donations for a benefit for the family of Officer Adam King who recently died in a car crash.

Bismarck Cpl. Amy Brenneke said the benefit is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 10 at the Terre Du Lac Pavilion.

“The name is misleading, it’s an actual enclosed building,” said Brenneke. “There will be a silent auction and if anyone would like to put in stuff I would greatly appreciate it. As of right now we don’t have one single thing.”

Brenneke said in addition to the silent auction they will have a chili and hot dog dinner and a car show. They will also be selling raffle tickets for a Remington 870 Express Shotgun.

“Anything that anyone can offer that will help us raise money for the King family will be appreciated,” said Brenneke. “It will help offset bills and with Christmas.”

Brenneke said the car show is free, so anyone who would like to bring their vehicle is welcome.

Anyone who would like to make a donation can contact the Terre Du Lac Association at 573-358-5701 or Bismarck Cpl. Amy Brenneke at 573-330-2539.
