IRONTON -- Brian Jon Turner of Farmington, formerly of Ironton, Missouri, passed away Sept. 4, 2017, at his residence at the age of 54 years, 11 months, and 21 days. He was born September 14, 1962, in St. Louis, Missouri, a son of William Jon and Beverly Sue Beck Turner.
Surviving are his parents, William and Beverly of Norman, Oklahoma; six daughters, Jaime Jones of Chicago, April Whited and husband Jamie of Farmington, Jennifer Jones of Seattle, Angela Shahdadi and Husband Niema of Columbia, Missouri, Rachel Campbell and Husband Tyler of Dallas, and Amber Turner of Farmington; one sister, Brenda Gibson and husband Chris of Toledo, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Nathan, Jason, Abigail, Shelby, Aiden, Noah, Story, and Hedi; two special nieces, Laney and Gracey, and many other relatives and friends.
Brian worked as a letter carrier of the United States Postal Service and also worked for the U.S. government. He was a 1980 graduate of Norman High School in Oklahoma and was a member of the Meadow Heights Church in Ironton. He loved his family dearly and was a devoted St. Louis Cardinals Fan.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Cole Family Funeral Home in Ironton, with Greg Amelung officiating. Memorials may be made to his minor daughter or to Meadow Heights Church. The family request that Friends and Family dress in St. Louis Cardinal Attire for the Service.
