DESLOGE — James Lee “Jim” Stahlman 71, of Terre Du Lac, formerly of Leadwood passed away December 21, 2011 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. He was born June 22, 1940 in St. Louis. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Desloge VFW Post 2426, Leadwood Masonic Lodge and attended Solid Rock Gospel Church. Jim served as Alderman for the City of Leadwood from 2003-2004 and was Mayor in 2005.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew John and Goldie Irene (Carver) Stahlman; half-brother, Bob Scopelite; half-sister, Rose Manning.

Jim is survived by his son, Jamie Stahlman and wife Michelle of Bonne Terre; three grandchildren, Jessica, Jacob and Jesse Stahlman; friend, Patty M. Stahlman ; additional family, Norman Stahlman of Hillsboro, Oregon and his special dog, Duke.

Visitation will be Monday, December 26, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge with a Masonic Service at 7:00 p.m. Service will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel with Rev. Larry Allison officiating. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full Military Honors. Memorials may be made to Desloge VFW Post 2426.
