Olivet Nazarene University announced Ashley Jones of Farmington and Jonathan Wisdom of Fredericktown were named to the fall 2017 dean's list. To qualify for inclusion on the dean's list, a student must have been enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and must have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale.
Riley Bohn of Farmington, has received the Residence Life Leadership Award to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2018-2019 academic year. Bohn is the daughter of Teresa Bohn of Farmington and will be a 2018 graduate of Farmington High School.
Kwinton Burnett of Farmington, has received the Residence Life Leadership Award to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2018-2019 academic year. Burnett is the son of Ryan and Cindy Burnett of Farmington, and will be a 2018 graduate of Central R-3 High School.
Drew Lynch of Farmington, has received the University Scholarship, Residence Life Leadership Award and Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2018-2019 academic year. Lynch is the son of John and Marty Lynch of Farmington, and will be a 2018 graduate of Farmington High School.
Jordan Cuneio of Bismarck, has received the Community College Scholarship and Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship. Cuneio is the daughter of Daniel and Andrea Cuneio of Desloge, and Janelle Cuneio of Bismarck. She is a 2016 graduate of Bismarck High School and a 2017 graduate of Mineral Area College.
Callista Nickelson of Farmington, has received the Community College Scholarship. Nickelson is the daughter of Chris and Mindi Schamburg of Farmington. She is a 2017 graduate of Farmington High School and a 2017 graduate of Mineral Area College.
Janet Courtway of Potosi, has received the Residence Life Leadership Award. Courtway is the daughter of Jack and Laura Courtway of Potosi, and will be a 2018 graduate of Potosi High School.
Eli Hampton of Potosi, has received the Regents' Scholarship. Hampton is the son of Ernest and Karen Hampton of Potosi, and will be a 2018 graduate of Potosi High School.
Cameron Hedgecorth of Potosi, has received the University Scholarship and Residence Life Leadership Award. Hedgecorth is the daughter of Josh and Amanda Hedgecorth of Potosi, and will be a 2018 graduate of Potosi High School.
Danielle Lawson of Desloge, has received the Residence Life Leadership Award. Lawson is the daughter of Stephanie Smith, and will be a 2018 graduate of North County High School.

Eric Reed of Blackwell, has received the University Scholarship and Residence Life Leadership Award. Reed is the son of Brian and Debra Reed of Blackwell.

Stephanie Whanger, a junior history major from Park Hills, is among more than 1,400 Harding University students included on the dean's list for grades achieved during the fall 2017 semester at Harding University. To be eligible, a student must be carrying 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average and no incompletes.
Cap America, Inc. has announced recipients of the 2018 CAP Scholarship.
The College Assistance Program (CAP) scholarship is an employee benefit program available to the dependents of employees that have one full calendar year of work history with the company.
Applications submitted for consideration are reviewed by committee. Criteria for dependent selection include full time student status as well as a GPA performance of 2.50 or higher on a 4.00 point scale or 7.00 or higher on an 11.00 scale for high school.
This semester there are five recipients, each awarded $1,000 for the spring 2018 semester.
Carlee Gibson has renewed her scholarship and will continue at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Carlee is the daughter of David Kelly employed for 12 years with the company and Amy Gibson-Kelly employed for 8 months with the company.
Brooke Benz has renewed her scholarship and will continue at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. Brooke is the daughter of Kim Benz employed for 22 years with the company.
Chelsea Hastings has renewed her scholarship and will continue at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Chelsea is the daughter of Trae Hastings employed for 11 years with the company.
Savanah Medlin is a new scholarship recipient for the spring 2018 semester and is attending Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. Savanah is the daughter of Deliah Medlin employed for 1 year with the company.
Cassandra Thompson is a new scholarship recipient for the spring 2018 semester and is attending Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. Cassandra is the daughter of Cathy Thompson employed for 20 years with the company.
Andrea McClanahan of Farmington, was one of 271 students named to Concordia University, Nebraska's honors list for the fall 2017 semester. The top 25 percent of all undergraduate students who complete at least 12 credit hours qualify for the honors list.
