BONNE TERRE — The North County football team overcame a six-game losing streak during the regular season to make the Class 4 playoffs with back-to-back district wins over De Soto and Windsor.

Trojans receive payback from Eagles
NEW MADRID — In the state play-off system, every varsity football team (except the six state champions) ends their season with a loss. The Potosi Trojans won all eleven of their games going into Monday night’s Sectional Game at New Madrid, but they too fell victim to the play-off format with a 32-24 loss to the Eagles.

Fierce On The Field, Friends Off The Field
After the Central and Potosi football game which was played in very muddy conditions for the District championship, several of the seniors from both teams (Central in white and Potosi in purple) posed for a photo showing the camaraderie of fellow athletes who leave it on the field. Several of the players have played against or with each other ever since MAFL. From left to right are: Back Row - Brandon Bourbon, Tyler Friend, Dillon Cordia, Chris Kelly and Jordan Pace. Front Row - Brad Bales, Ryan Calvird, Dylan Wyrick and Hunter Belfield.
