Police Report
February 10, 2003
The Fredericktown Police Department answered eighty-five calls during the week of February 3 to 10, 2003, and made the following arrests:
1. Two for failure to stop at a stop sign;
2. Fifteen for exceeding the speed limit;
3. One for property damage;
4. One for trespass.
On Tuesday, February 4, at 11:28 A.M. a 1977 Ford F-350 belonging to Gregory D. Bailey of Knob Lick rolled from the parking lot of T-Rex Convenience Store on West Main and struck a utility pole belonging to the City of Fredericktown on South Wood Avenue. No injuries were reported.
Friday, February 7, a two vehicle crash occurred on High Street at Newberry about 8:50 A.M. A 1996 Oldsmobile Achieva driven north of High Street by Melinda E. Greer of Fredericktown collided with a 1991 Mitsubishi Eclipse, being driven east from the stop sign on Newberry Street by Brent G. Havens of Fredericktown. Driver Greer and a passenger, Junior Greer of Fredericktown reported probable, but not apparent injuries.
Saturday, February 8 a three vehicle crash took place on Missouri 72 in front on the Dollar General Store at 10:55 A.M. A 1998 Dodge Ram driven by Warren A. Barnes of Fredericktown had stopped to turn onto the parking lot and was struck from the rear by a 1989 Ford Aerostar driven by Henry C. Robinson of Wabasha, Minnesota. The Robinson vehicle was struck from the rear by a 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 driven by Wayne L. Bollinger of Wichita, Kansas. No injuries were reported.
