Farmington Press to offer graduate tab
Let’s admit it. Most of us only graduate from high school one time. It’s a joyous occasion for our families and friends, and the milestone of an ending and a new beginning all at once.
Well this year the Farmington Press will offer a chance to make that milestone just a little more memorable. We will be offering a Farmington High School Class of 2003 graduation tab which will be distributed with the newspaper in late May.
Plans for the tab call for it to feature a photo of each senior, random snapshots of the class as possible, and greetings and cards of congratulations from fellow students, siblings, parents, teachers and businesses as well. We’ll be selling sponsorships of the tab to area businesses. But the readers have a chance to get involved, too.
Anyone wishing to purchase an ad space honoring a senior can do so for as little as $6. We anticipate the tab will be at least 12 to 14 pages, maybe larger when it’s finished. We’ll do our best to make it a presentable piece of memorabilia to keep as a reminder of this joyous time for many years to come.
To assure your place in cheering on your graduate in the tab you can call sales representative Mandy Carlyon at our office at 756-8927 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to noon, or leave a message anytime during business hours 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and she’ll return your call. Next week’s Press will feature a cutout which will make the process of contacting us and securing your space even easier.
The deadline for submissions to the tab will be May 12, 2003. Watch for more details next week.
